Taking place August 1st – 6th 2023, World Youth Day (WYD) is the gathering of young people in Lisbon & Fatima in Portugal with the Pope. The Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg is embarking July 28 - August 8 2021 (dates are subject to change). WYD is also a pilgrimage, a celebration of youth, an expression of the universal Church and an intense moment of evangelization for the world. Did you know that many young adults, adults, and families from around the Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg are travelling to World Youth Day to see Pope Francis? Taking place August 1st – 6th 2023, World Youth Day (WYD) is the gathering of young people from all over the world with the Pope. It is also a pilgrimage, a celebration of youth, an expression of the universal Church and an intense moment of evangelization for the world. WYD opens its doors to everyone, no matter how close to or distant from the Church they are.

 

Additional information:

  • Participants must be 16 years or older on departure.

  • Those under 18 must attend with an adult family member or chaperoned youth group.

  • Families and adults over 40 are welcome to attend; see website for more info.

  • Individuals and groups of 15 or less will have the option to join with others on a pilgrimage team.

  • Travel insurance packages are available.

​

The total cost of this trip is $4000. Prices increase after September 25, 2022. Fundraising is available, easy, and profitable! Cost includes all travel, hotel, fees, and most food. A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to save your spot.
